Human Machine Interaction

In my role as Head of User Experience, my primary responsibility is to ensure seamless and integrated experiences across all human touchpoints, including both software and hardware, for our future customers.

Alongside guiding my team through the design journey, I spearheaded the development of a scalable UX/UI framework that enabled us to validate our design work using a seating buck. Despite not having any legacy to work with, this setup allowed us to simulate the driving experience and refine screen interactions based on user feedback.

My personal experience as an electric car driver for several years has provided me with valuable insights and a deep understanding of user needs, which has been instrumental in empathizing with and addressing the pain points of our target audience.

Interaction Prototype

This customer journey overview illustrates the comprehensive journey customers embark on when introduced to the Lucid Air, designed to maintain engagement throughout the production process, beginning with the pre-order phase. The main focus of this journey is to highlight three key categories: Welcome Experience, Driver Experience, and Owners' Loyalty Program. Our objective was to establish the Lucid Air not merely as a car, but as a premium product complemented by exceptional service. The discipline of UX in this context encompasses the entire customer experience, extending beyond just the in-car system to ensure a seamless and enjoyable interaction at every touchpoint.
